Long Lake invites schools to a unique

day-long nature immersion field trip

A full nature experience packed into an invigorating day-long hike around Long Lake. Students will explore and learn up close what is happening in Minnesota forests and wetlands. While out exploring, students will learn about human outdoor survival including building shelters and small cooking fires to cook an outdoor lunch. It will be a memorable day of challenges, cooperation and connecting with nature. Nature activities are dependent on the season and weather. School groups of up to 150 students.

Scheduling is based on arrival at Long Lake at 10 a.m. and leaving at 2 p.m.
